Five Players Chelsea Will Not Be Sending On Loan

Chelsea’s squad will get thinner and thinner as Mourinho will start actually selling players instead of sending them out on loan.

Chelsea have one of if not the strongest squad in the World. They have invested in the world’s best and have transferred young prospects who will get the chance to be part of an amazing project started by Mourinho. According to TalkSport, there will be some permanent changes going down at Stamford Bridge as well as some of the moves made by the club failed to meet expectations. Here is a list of names you will probably not see added to the game sheet later than January 2016.

  1. Filipe Luis – as mentioned in other articles, the Brazilian already has one foot out the door. He has been talking to Atletico and planning a return after failing to adapt to the Premier League and mostly after failing to keep up with Azpilicueta.
  2. Marko Marin – the 26 year old is not built for the Premier League and especially not for Chelsea. Even though he looked promising, he failed when pitted against Oscar, Willian and all the others playing a similar position to that in which he should shine.
  3. John Obi Mikel – seen as the perfect replacement for Essien, Obi Mikel has not quite filled the shoes of the man he was supposed to replace. After Matic came back, he stood no chance. He has already been linked to a bunch of other clubs with Italy being his most likely destination.
  4. Victor Moses – Just like Marin, he was unfortunate enough to join Chelsea when Hazard, Oscar and Willian were in top shape. Even if Oscar might not be playing at his full potential he will never be replaced by Moses, no matter the position in which the two perform.
  5. Mohamed Salah – the Egyptian player kind of signed his resignation after leaving Fiorentina. The legal trouble he is facing could be a career killer especially after failing to adapt while at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea could be looking to offload the winger as soon as possible despite his talent.
