Five Best Players From The USA In The Premier League Including Arsenal, Fulham And Chelsea Stars

There have been plenty of talented footballers from the USA who’ve played in the Premier League – Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan and Tim Howard, to name a few. But who the best players from the USA currently playing in England’s top division at the moment?

We’re only looking at players who are currently in the Premier League – therefore, any alumni will be disregarded.

Given the massive development of MLS it is no surprise to see so many American stars now plying their trade in the Premier League.

Matt Turner

Arsenal’s backup keeper, he has yet to make an appearance for the Gunners in the Premier League – however, this should not be a black mark on his overall quality.

Turner is a good all-round goalkeeper with no real weaknesses. He’s been capped by the USA national team 24 times – currently, he’s their first choice ‘keeper.

He’s mainly played in Europa League games for Arsenal this season – while his chances to impress have been few and far between, he is a very reliable backup option should Aaron Ramsdale be unavailable.

Antonee Robinson

Antonee Robinson was born and raised in Milton Keynes, but is eligible for the USMNT through his father, who was raised in New York.

A brilliant full back who is enjoying a fruitful season with Fulham, Robinson possesses electric pace and clever dribbling ability. This alone makes him one of the more dangerous attacking full backs in the Premier League.

He’s been ever present for the Cottagers this year, only missing out on the starting lineup when injured or suspended.

Tim Ream

Tim Ream hasn’t looked like the most solid of defenders in the past – this season, however, it is a completely different story.

His flawless positioning, coupled with his imposing frame makes him a very difficult centre half to get past. He’s not the quickest player in the world, but his anticipation skills make up for it.

He’s a fan favourite at Craven Cottage, for good reason. All together now: Reeeaaaammm!

Tyler Adams

Tyler Adams has been a sensation for Leeds this season. The Whites looked set to struggle following the departure of Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City, but Adams has filled in the gaps very effectively.

He has played in all but three Premier League games for Leeds this season. While the West Yorkshire giants are threatened with relegation, Adams is thriving in a struggling team.

He possesses excellent passing, solid defensive ability and limitless stamina – he has everything he needs to be a successful midfielder in the Premier League.

Christian Pulisic

Christian Pulisic, the crown jewel of the USMNT, simply has to be the top of this list. A wonderful dribbler who can orchestrate entire games when at his best, the sky is the limit for this young man.

Unfortunately, with Chelsea’s extravagant spending in recent months, Pulisic has found it tough to get a game for the Blues. With players such as Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke being brought in, his game time has been significantly reduced.

Regardless, Pulisic isn’t known as ‘Captain America’ for nothing. Whether he moves on or stays at Chelsea, success runs through his veins.
