FFC To Force Tough Calls At Stamford Bridge- Hazard/Oscar Could Leave!

According to the Mirror, Chelsea have to do some serious thinking before making future transfers. Because of UEFA’s Financial Fair Play directives, the Blues will need to start considering their options. If FFP rules will apply at the end of the year, massive chances will take place mostly within clubs who like spending big with each and every transfer period.

Even though Mourinho has reportedly decided to let all four strikers who are currently Chelsea’s players, leave at the end of the season, things will not become simpler as all four is a tall order as it seems like at least Torres looks like he will dig his heels in sand insist on completing the remaining 2 years on his deal. The club’s losses and the large wages prevent the Blues for signing more than one world class striker like Diego Costa so they will need to be creative and then some.

The bad news for Chelsea fans comes from the fact that sacrifices will be made in order to finally get some fire power. If Abramovich will want one or two new strikers which will cost a lot of money, one or two top end players will have to leave. Letting the at least 3 strikers leave (a more realistic possibility) and also allowing Luiz and Cole to find new destinations is not enough to cover Diego Costa’s arrival. What is even worse is that one striker will not be enough. That means someone else should come to London.

In order to find the necessary funds, Chelsea might have to sell at least one of Europe’s favorite midfield couple. Hazard and Oscar are the only ones who could get the Blues enough money to afford Diego Costa but surely this is is too high a price to pay even for the incredibly Costa – if it was Messi then I think we would have to do the deal but with Mourinho valuing the two at £300million then he clearly has absolutely no inclination to sell them.
