Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud scored his fifth goal in his sixth Europa League appearance against Malmo last night.
The Frenchman put the Blues 2-0 up just before the hour mark with a smart backheel flick finish.
Supporters gave credit to Giroud for another good display on the European stage:

With Malmo getting a goal back ten minutes from time, it means Chelsea face a nervy second leg at Stamford Bridge in a week’s time.
Still, manager Maurizio Sarri will be glad to get back to winning ways after what has been a very difficult week for the Italian.
For Giroud, despite scoring yesterday, he is likely to find himself back on the bench when the Blues face Manchester United in the FA Cup on Monday evening.
The performance in Malmo should give the Chelsea squad a bit more confidence heading into a challenging fixture list.
After United and Malmo, Sarri’s side face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final followed by a league game against Tottenham.
