Fans poke fun at Cesc Fabregas for ‘awful’ BBC appearance

Football fans have hilariously mocked Cesc Fabregas after the Spaniard’s BBC appearance yesterday evening.

The Spaniard was part of the team that were in the studio for last night’s thrilling 3-3 draw between Spain and Portugal.

Yet while the Blues midfielder held his own on the desk, his choice of outfit appeared to cause quite a stir, with both viewers and the rest of the BBC punditry team.

Yesterday, Gary Neville also joked it was good of Fabregas to bring his World Cup winners’ medal from 2010, referring to the gold lapels on his shirt.

And today, the former Barca star’s shirt came under heavy criticism from former Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba, who responded when asked if he was nervous about his first ever appearance as a pundit: “Well as long as I don’t get the comments that Cesc got yesterday, (it will be) good.”

England women’s manager Phil Neville also added his part, saying Drogba was wearing “a better shirt.”

Is it a pilot? Is it a sea cadet? No, it’s Cesc Fabregas!
