Fabregas, The Missing Piece Of Chelsea’s Engine!

Jose Mourinho moved quickly to bring Cesc Fabregas to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona for a fee believed to be in the region of £30 million. Even though Arsenal had the first option on him, Wenger decided against a move and Fabregas joined Chelsea after falling out of favour at Nou Camp.

He has already displayed his amazing talents in pre-season matches for Chelsea and Mourinho believes he is ‘the missing piece of Chelsea’s engine’, according to Metro.

The Special One said, “We are so happy. He has a football brain we need in our team. So our club have done very well. All the players have a fantastic feeling around Cesc.”

He added, “I always thought Cesc would stay a Barcelona player. We want to move in a different direction. It’s something our football needs. I see him everywhere, because he can play everywhere. His best quality is the speed at which he analyses the game and executes. He’s very intelligent. And he gives you goals.”

Do you think Fabregas can help Chelsea lift silverware this season?
