‘Expressions Of Interest’ Report Claims Chelsea And West Ham Have Both Enquired About 34M Rated Italian Ace

Chelsea, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund have all made “expressions of interest” in Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, according to Sport Italia journalist Alfredo Pedulla.

The 26-year-old, who was also linked with Liverpool and Arsenal last month, is said to be available for around €40m (£34m) this summer.

Berardi starred in the group stages for Italy at the European Championships but was used more sparingly in the knockout rounds as Federico Chiesa took his place in the starting eleven.

Coincidentally, the Blues were also linked with Chiesa last week, but Berardi is believed to be on the market for a much lower price than his international teammate.

It does appear as though manager Thomas Tuchel is looking to strengthen his squad with another winger. In addition to Berardi and Chiesa, reports in Germany have claimed that Chelsea are interested in Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman, while Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne has also been mentioned as an option.
