Ex-Gunner Turns On Arsenal In Race For Premier League Glory

Arsenal’s former keeper recently expressed his opinion on who will win the Premier League. The Gunners were not amongst the favorites despite being the keeper’s former team. According to SkySports, he is supporting Chelsea who in his opinion have the best chance at winning the title. Fabianski considers the Blues the strongest team to face at this moment, especially after his team lost to a 5 goal difference on Saturday.

The former Gunner did not mention Arsenal at all in his last discussion with the press and only focused on Chelsea who left a mark on the keeper after they defeated Swansea. The Polish stopper who spent 7 years at the Emirates and made just over 30 appearances, is now closing in on that number with his current club. Speaking about the North Londoners seems like a delicate subject considering how the parties split. The 29 year old was really unhappy with his situation at the club which also led to his departure.

Even though it is hard to figure out why the Polish international did not mention Arsenal as a title candidate, it is clear that he is not very pleased with what happened in London. To be fair though, his lack of consistency is what got Wenger to let the 29 year old leave and redirect the club’s attention towards David Ospina. Hopefully the Frenchman made a good choice as Fabianski posed little to no challenges for Szczesny during his last year at the Emirates.
