Eden Hazard to STAY at Chelsea

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is set to stay at the club this summer, according to Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur.

The Belgium international returned to England last weekend after his World Cup duty, and began training with the club’s other international stars.

It has been rumoured all summer long that Hazard is a top target of Real Madrid’s, with the Spanish side in the market for a Cristiano Ronaldo replacement.

After Belgium’s World Cup curtain closer, Hazard admitted he would be open to a move away from Stamford Bridge, implying that Madrid is his preferred destination.

But HLN reporter Terreur has spoken out about a potential deal, saying no negotiations between Real Madrid and Chelsea have taken place – hinting that a move will not happen.

He wrote on Twitter: “Eden Hazard is back in London and will return to training today.

“No dream move for him. Chelsea are still reluctant to sell him (to Real Madrid) and have never ever been open for negotiations or talks. And time has ran out.

“Braced for 3 days of Eden Hazard and Real Madrid links, but Chelsea have been reluctant to sell him since the first phone call from Madrid to London.

“Chelsea blocked everything off and when a player is too kind to force a move.”

It serves as great news for everyone involved with Chelsea football club, as Hazard’s departure would have almost certainly been a disastrous move as they head into the new season.
