Eden Hazard tipped to stay at Chelsea by Blues legend

Chelsea legend Dennis Wise has tipped Eden Hazard to snub Real Madrid in order to remain at Chelsea.

The LA Liga giants have been heavily linked with a move for Hazard in recent months, and are reported to be preparing a mega money bid before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

The Belgian international fuelled rumours he could move to the Bernabeu last month when he suggested he needed a “new challenge” following a difficult season at Stamford Bridge.

Despite such comments however, Wise – who won two FA Cup titles with the Blues in 1997 and 2000 – believes the 27-year-old forward will choose to remain at Stamford Bridge.

“I think he’ll stay I really do,” Wise said.

“He’s important to Chelsea and the fans as well he’s important to the team as he is a player of exceptional ability.

“You want to keep those type of players so fingers crossed nothing happens.

“I think he’s quite loyal and I think he wants to stay at Chelsea, I really do.”
