Chelsea have entered the race to sign Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, according to multiple reports in the English media. The Blues are not able to sign players due to their transfer ban at the moment but if their appeal is successful, it is believed they may look to sign the ex-Celtic forward.
Manchester United have also been heavily linked with the 23-year-old in recent months, with the Frenchman having scored eight goals in 11 league appearances so far this season. Supporters on Twitter are not particularly keen on the club signing the player:
No, don’t want him, don’t need him.

Dembele wouldn’t seem to be an upgrade on Tammy Abraham, but it appears manager Frank Lampard is probably looking for replacements for Olivier Giroud.
The forward’s contract expires in the summer, and he is very unlikely to stay at Stamford Bridge after seeing his game time limited this season. If the France international does leave, there is space for another striker in the squad.
