Chelsea could be subject of a major transfer market rumour as Ibrahimović’s agent announces the 33 year old is thinking of leaving France.

Chelsea might be the first team to finally encourage Ibrahimović to give the Premier League a try. Even though he should have joined Arsenal way back, the Sweden international has yet to try and leave his mark on the strongest Championship in Europe. According to Metro, the 33 year old could make the step this summer when he is thinking of leaving Paris. Most PSG fans would insist that this is just a tactic to shake things up a bit before Chelsea face the Parisians, if not for the fact that Ibrahimović’s own agent was the one hinting towards a possible exit.

Despite that the moment in which this rumor has emerged makes the actual news a bit farfetched, it is still something the Blues should consider. Zlatan could definitely be tempted to end his career at Stamford Bridge especially given the fact that Mourinho could offer him the opportunity to finally win the Champions League. Chances of seeing Ibrahimović lifting the trophy are a lot bigger with Chelsea than with PSG regardless of how good the French are.

The relationship between Ibrahimović and Mourinho is also something to think about. The Swedish striker has always admired Chelsea’s boss and would definitely jump at the opportunity of working with him. If rumors turn out to be true, Costa and Remy will have their work cut out for them regardless of the fact that Zlatan will be turning 34 this July.
