Chelsea drew a blank against Brighton last night, but with manager Thomas Tuchel having left Tammy Abraham out of the matchday squad once again, there has been some debate over whether the 23-year-old should be given more game time.
Tuchel has spoken out about the England international’s situation, stating that the forward may well be worried, even angry, about being overlooked and it remains to be seen whether the Blues boss will make a u-turn on selecting the striker.
Fans on Twitter are very much split on whether Abraham will be handed a chance by Tuchel. Some believe he deserves another opportunity, while others can’t see a way back for him:
Definitely deserves a chance now @tammyabraham

I don't know why he is even not on the bench even though he is our top scorer

No chance he’s coming back now

I feel bad for him but he relies on service and we are barely creating chances as it is

Doesn't matter who's up top if the creation of chances is non existent.

Tuchel’s selection decisions are extremely hard to predict. He has been rotating his squad a lot, using Timo Werner, Olivier Giroud and even Kai Havertz up front. However, despite using so many different players, he has still not found room for Abraham. We shall see if that changes against West Ham this weekend.
