De Bruyne To Follow Hazard’s Advice?

De Bruyne To Follow Hazard’s Advice?

Young Belgian international, Kevin De Bruyne has little hope when it comes to actually becoming a team regular at Chelsea it would seem. Mourinho, despite denying any changes his squad might undergo during January sat down and spoke with De Bruyne who has spent much of the season on the bench. The main reason for his poor appearance rate is his lack of consistency and a sometimes questionable work ethic. His talent is still there though which means he might only get sent out on loan.

According to Metro, the 22 year old could return to the Bundesliga. While on loan with Werder, he managed to impress despite his young age. The player also looks keen on leaving the Blues at least for what is left of the season. Despite his cold run with Chelsea, he was still part of Belgium’s international squad which made it to the World Cup. Unfortunately for him, Marc Wilmots recently announced that players who are not constantly performing will not be part of Belgium’s team.

Wilmots is not the only one who has advised De Bruyne to make a change during the winter transfer period. Eden Hazard also urged his compatriot to find a team which will play him on a regular basis. His biggest chances are to leave for Leverkusen who look very keen on getting the youngster’s signature. The only issue that remains seemingly, is deciding if Chelsea’s midfielder will leave on loan or if he will part ways with the Blues for good but things could change in a heartbeat were Chelsea to suddenly have an injury crisis so we shall see.
