De Bruyne Delivers Glowing Assessment Of Chelsea Target Who He Describes As “Unbelievable”

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne says the hype over Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is fully justified.

The Belgian trained with the forward a number of times before he left the Citizens for Germany in 2017, and when asked about his potential on Instagram Live, the former Chelsea player replied:

“He is crazy. It’s weird, I trained a few times with him and he was gone. Unbelievable. Sometimes it goes like this but it is good for him. Now if you want him you have to pay… I don’t want to know!”

Sancho has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United in the summer but, as De Bruyne mentions, his asking price is expected to be astronomically high.

The 20-year-old could fetch anywhere up to £120m, and it remains to be seen whether the Blues will have the funds to make the transfer happen at the end of the season.

Going by De Bruyne’s comments, though, manager Frank Lampard should be imploring Marina Granovskaia and the club’s board to make a move for Sancho.

The winger has scored an impressive 17 goals and contributed 19 assists in 35 appearances for Dortmund so far this campaign.
