As Chelsea prepare to begin their season with a Community Shield clash with Manchester City, we will be taking a look at how Maurizio Sarri might line-up the Blues in what is his first big game at the club.

The Blues were crowned FA Cup winners last season when they beat Manchester United 1-0 at Wembley, and take on a record breaking City side who have enjoyed a fairly good pre-season despite being without many of their first team stars.

Last season Chelsea were defeated 1-0 by City in both of their Premier League encounters, and the last time they met at Wembley they were also defeated.

Several of Chelsea’s players are also yet to return from their post World Cup break, but there is still a wealth of talent amongst the squad which has been demonstrated in their unbeaten pre-season campaign.

Here is how we think Chelsea will line-up against City on Sunday:

As for City, they also have a number of key players missing from their squad due to the World Cup. They are expected to field a youthful team for the clash, with Riyad Mahrez set to also make his first appearance in England since signing for the Sky Blues.
