Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Robert Sanchez – Maresca continues to favour the Spaniard over Filip Jorgensen despite his shortcomings.
RB – Reece James – after a morale-boosting international break, the club captain will be hoping to kick on with some good performances for the Blues.
CB – Wesley Fofana – having played regularly at right-back since his return from injury, the Frenchman will be keen to revert to a more familiar role.
CB – Levi Colwill – the defender has completed the full 90 minutes in all but two of Chelsea’s Premier League games this season.
LB – Marc Cucurella – the left-back’s fitness is vital due to there being no natural backup option.
