“Clubs Are Starting To Call Us…” Father Of £70M Rated Chelsea Target Speaks Out About Potential Summer Transfer

Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has been the subject of a number of enquiries from interested clubs, according to the player’s father.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been mentioned as potential suitors for the Argentinian international and, when asked about his son’s future this week, Carlos Mac Allister said that preliminary talks had been held:

“Clubs are starting to call us for Alexis but there are no concrete talks now. We’ll decide together with Brighton, they deserve respect. We will pick the best project, based on the coach too – it’s not about money.”

Mac Allister is known to be on a list of midfielders that the Blues are considering ahead of the summer transfer window, although it remains to be seen whether he will become a priority target.

It is believed that Brighton may demand as much as £70m for the 24-year-old and, after he signed a new contract earlier this season, the Seagulls are in a strong position to get what they want.

West Ham’s Declan Rice, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone are just some of the names that have been mentioned as potential alternatives so we shall see who Chelsea decide to pursue.
