Juventus have made “first” contact with the agent of Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic, according to Calciomercato.com.

The American international is believed to have been on the Serie A club’s radar for quite some time and they have now decided to talk with his representative to find out whether the forward is likely to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

It is claimed that Chelsea may be open to selling Pulisic for around €35m (£31.6m), although it is thought that the 23-year-old’s future will very much depend on how many games he plays now there has been a change in manager.

The winger found minutes difficult to come by under previous head coach Thomas Tuchel but he will be looking to see whether he features more prominently in Graham Potter’s plans.

Pulisic started on the bench in Potter’s first game in charge against Red Bull Salzburg so he’ll be keen to play a bigger role after the international break. If he remains on the periphery then Juve’s chances of signing him will increase markedly.
