Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has signed a new five-year contract with the club. The Frenchman’s new deal now runs until 2023 ending speculation linking him with PSG and Manchester United.
He will reportedly be paid £290,000 a week, making him the highest wage earner at Stamford Bridge, ahead of the likes of Eden Hazard and Kepa.
Fans on Twitter are delighted that Kante has decided to commit his long-term future to the Blues:

The France international has been a key player since he arrived from Leicester City for £32m in 2016. During his first season at the club, he helped Chelsea to the Premier League title, making the defensive midfield role his own under manager Antonio Conte. Although his second campaign was not as fruitful, he still ended with silverware as the Blues won the FA Cup.
Following the arrival of Maurizio Sarri as head coach in the summer, Kante’s position in the side has changed in order to accommodate Jorginho. However, despite playing in a more advanced position, he remains a regular first-team player, having played every single minute in the Premier League so far this season.
