Chelsea’s Stance On Selling 42M Rated Winger To Liverpool Is Revealed

Chelsea will not consider selling Christian Pulisic to Liverpool, according to reports in the Catalan media.

The American international is said to be available for €50m (£42m) but he would not be allowed to leave for another Premier League team.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to be an admirer of Pulisic but the Blues are not prepared to strengthen a rival, who will be competing with them for trophies this season.

Pulisic did start in the 4-0 win over Juventus last night, but there are question marks about his position in the side once the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz are all fully fit.

Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech have been favoured in wide areas in recent weeks, and manager Thomas Tuchel may see Pulisic as dispensable if his overall fitness doesn’t improve.

If he were to leave Stamford Bridge at any point, though, it seems that Chelsea would only look at sanctioning a move abroad.
