Chelsea’s New Fantastic Four Additions?

Chelsea’s New Fantastic Four Additions?

Chelsea fans will not be overly happy with the way this season has gone as there have been no more major trophies won. Because of that and because of the fact that a new manager will take over, major changes are expected. It will all start with Antonio Conte apparently. The Italian manager who is credited with the biggest chance to take over the Blues is bound to bring his own style, a style that will probably require some new transfers.

According to the Metro, Conte is one of the major names coming to Stamford Bridge in the summer. Here are the other three who, if put together, could represent the beginning of a new era.  Starting from top to bottom here’s a look at the star quality footballers linked to Chelsea:

  1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 26 – Brilliant striker. Fast, effective and ready to move. Eager for success and for a new challenge, Dortmund’s Center Forward could represent a long term solution. Sure, Chelsea still have Costa but why not offer him strong competition? Aubameyang is worth the financial effort and he is worth fighting for. Real is on the line but given Chelsea’s season, Chelsea could go over the top and spend as much as he needs to on order to sign him.
  2. Radja Nainggolan – 27 – He would bring back the fighting spirit Lampard had. The Belgium international needs a bigger challenge as well as the level in Serie A has dropped considerably over the years. Paired with Fabregas, Nainggolan would be the perfect link between the defense and the offense. He would also do well next to Matic who would need a fast-paced midfielder next to him.
  3. Mats Hummels – 27 – Experienced and full of quality. Hummels has won the World Cup, has played a Champions League final and has become probably the most sought-after defender in the world. He looks like the perfect fit for the Premier League and he looks like the perfect fit for Nainggolan and Aubameyang.

These 4 are the names could be expected to help turn things around for Chelsea. All of them would represent a massive financial effort, a financial effort that would be worth Chelsea’s while though. Looking forward to this summer to see if the Blues manage to bring all 4 together.
