Chelsea winger drops huge hint he’s bound for Spain

Chelsea winger Willian has dropped a huge hint that he could move to Barcelona this summer.

The Brazil international looks set to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming months after a difficult last season with the Blues.

Despite winning the club’s Player of the Season award, the flying forward fell out of favour with manager Antonio Conte in the latter half of last term, and was left out of the Italian’s starting XI for Chelsea’s FA Cup final victory over Manchester United back in May.

And subsequent to his difficult few months in London, rumours were rife that the highly rated 29-year-old could leave Chelsea, with La Liga giants Barcelona hot favourites to land him this summer.

The Catalan club were reported only last week to have submitted a bid around €50 million for the Brazilian – an offer which Chelsea were understood to have declined.

Whether or not Barca will return for Willian remains to be seen, however the Brazil star has hinted if they do, he would be more than open to a move to the Nou Camp.

When asked about the possibility of linking up with countrymen Coutinho and Paulinho at Barcelona, Willian said: “Well, they are excellent players with a lot of quality. In addition to great players, they are very good friends.

“People speculate a lot. We see a lot of things on the internet, but this is not the time to talk about this.

“I’ve not received any information about that. I’m trying to focus on my performance, playing for Brazil.”
