Chelsea Winger Appears To Like Photo On Instagram Criticising Teammate

Mykhailo Mudryk has recently appeared to commit something of a social media faux pas. On Instagram, it was reported that the Ukrainian winger liked a meme that criticised Marc Cucurella.

The photo relates back to Chelsea’s last Premier League game, when they drew 1-1 with West Ham. In that game, Chelsea struggled to break the Hammers down – Mudryk, in particular, expressed frustration at Cucurella for not passing the ball to him on several occasions.

There was one notable example that stands above the rest. During the second half, Mudryk made a gut-busting run in behind West Ham’s back line, hoping Cucurella would see this and play him in – instead, the Spaniard took the easy option and played a sideways pass to Enzo Fernandez. Mudryk’s disapproval was clear for all to see.

The meme itself shows a humourous depiction of Cucurella preferring his Chelsea teammates (including manager Graham Potter) to Mudryk.

Mudryk was alleged to have liked the post, with several Chelsea fans noticing it and pointing it out online. However, if Mudryk did like the post, he has since unliked it.

Both Cucurella and Mudryk have joined Chelsea this season, with the former being signed in the summer and the latter being snapped up in January. They may not have linked up well against West Ham, but they both have plenty of time to gel and develop an understanding for each other.
