Chelsea Willing To Offer Zouma In Exchange As They Step Up Pursuit Of 33M Rated Serie A Star

Chelsea are willing to use Kurt Zouma in their offer to sign Roma centre-back Gianluca Mancini, according to reports in the Italian media.

Mancini was first linked with a move to Stamford Bridge back in March, along with Manchester United, and Roma are believed to have set a valuation between €34m (£29m) and €39m (£33m) for the player.

If the Italian defender is available for that price, it would be surprising if Zouma was used in a straight swap deal, considering his valuation is likely to be far higher.

Reports have suggested that manager Thomas Tuchel is looking to move the France international on this summer, and Roma boss Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on having him at the Serie A side.

It may simply be a case of the Italian press seeing the two players being linked with the two clubs and putting two and two together.
