Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea make a short trip to the London Stadium this weekend as they face West Ham and look to earn their second win in a row.
The Blues beat Bournemouth 1-0 last time out after Christian Nkunku scored the winner in the 86th minute with an assist from Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho.
He only came on as a sub, but Sancho impressed in his debut, possibly meaning he could be in line to start against West Ham this weekend.
The Blues’ opponents drew 1-1 last weekend against Fulham in a relatively poor performance from the Hammers. Danny Ings was the hero as he scored West Ham’s equaliser in the 95th minute.
Chelsea players Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez and Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall are all currently being assessed as to whether they will be fit to play on Saturday whereas Reece James and Malo Gusto are still unavailable.

The Blues are backed to beat their London rivals
Chelsea are the favourites for Saturday’s clash despite being the away team in what can be a hostile environment. The Hammers’ recent poor form likely gives the Blues a great chance of three points and consecutive wins.
Oddschecker has Enzo Maresca’s side as 11/10 favourites, whilst West Ham are backed at 12/5 and a draw at 29/10.
Due to Chelsea’s quality and the fact that West Ham’s recent form has been very up and down, we predict a 2-1 win for Enzo Maresca’s side in what could be an end-to-end affair.
