Chelsea finally recorded their first win under Frank Lampard’s second tenure at the club last time out – they’ll be looking to build on that as they take on relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest.

The Blues are set to be without Armando Broja, Mason Mount, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Marcus Bettinelli for their game against Forest. Additionally, Wesley Fofana is a doubt – his availability for the game on Saturday is currently unclear.

In their last game, Chelsea defeated Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium by a score of 3-1. Conor Gallagher opened the scoring early on, only to be pegged back 12 minutes later by Matias Vina. The Blues dug in and found a second goal in the 82nd minute through Benoit Badiashile. Joao Felix then followed this up soon after, cementing Chelsea’s first league win since March 11.

Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, defeated Southampton in a 4-3 thriller. Both teams were unwilling to lay down, yet they both displayed defensive frailties – in the end, Danilo netted the winning goal.

When the two teams last played each other in competitive action, back on New Year’s Day, the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw. Chelsea drew first blood with a goal from Raheem Sterling, only for Forest to equalise in the second half thanks to former Tottenham fullback Serge Aurier. How will the reverse fixture pan out?
