Chelsea travel to St James’ Park tomorrow afternoon hoping to make it three wins out of three in the Premier League under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues kicked off the campaign in style with a 3-0 win over Huddersfield before beating London rivals Arsenal 3-2 last weekend in a thrilling affair at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri has named experimental starting XI’s for his first two games, however may turn to some of his bigger stars this weekend for what will be a tough trip to a ground at which Chelsea have not won since 2011.

Eden Hazard, who hss been eased back into action could make his return to the starting line-up in place of Willian, while Mateo Kovacic looks set for his first start for the Blues after impressing off the bench against Arsenal. Ross Barkley will likely make way.

At the back, the Italian boss is likely to stick with the back four he’s trusted for each of the last two weeks, while Kepa Arrizabalaga has settled well as the club’s new number one keeper.

Injuries

Chelsea’s only injury worry is Cesc Fabregas, who remains out with a knee injury, however there are plenty of alternatives in centre midfield in his absence.

Suspensions

There are no suspensions for Maurizio Sarri’s side.
