Chelsea V Leicester City – Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Chelsea will have been buoyed after making it through to the last four of the Carabao Cup in midweek, and they will want to continue that good feeling when they face Leicester City tomorrow.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri will still be without striker Alvaro Morata, who twisted his knee in the 2-2 draw against Vidi in the Europa League last week.

Andreas Christensen will also be unavailable after picking up a hamstring injury against Bournemouth last time out, but Victor Moses is closing in on a return from a back problem. Gary Cahill is a doubt for the weekend after missing the last three games.

Leicester manager Claude Puel is sweating over the fitness of two players with both Ben Chilwell and Wilfried Ndidi suffering from minor knee injuries and will face late fitness tests. Jamie Vardy (groin) is likely to be fit to start.

At the bookies, Chelsea are being heavily backed to get the three points at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are 10/29 at Unibet to win, while a draw is 9/2 at Betfred. A victory for the Foxes is best priced at 10/1 with William Hill.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester:

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, David Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Pedro, Hazard, Willian

Leicester’s Predicted XI:

Schmeichel, Ricardo, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Mendy, Iborra, Albrighton, Maddison, Gray, Vardy

Predicted Score – 2-0 to Chelsea
