Despite the draw against Brighton, Chelsea remain five points clear of fifth-place heading into this weekend’s fixture against Burnley. The Clarets have not been in particularly good form recently but fans will not be taking anything for granted considering the Blues’ poor home form.

The fact that the London club have lost just as many league games as they have won at Stamford Bridge this season is a major blot on Frank Lampard‘s copybook. He will want to start putting that right on Saturday.

Christian Pulisic (knock) and Marcos Alonso (muscular) are both doubts for the Burnley clash, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Achilles) and Marco van Ginkel (knee) are still out of contention.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche has five fitness concerns ahead of the weekend. Chris Wood (hamstring) and Aaron Lennon (groin) could be back available but Ashley Barnes (groin) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (hamstring) are both major doubts. Ben Gibson (groin) has been ruled out.

At the bookies, Chelsea are the favourites with Betway pricing them at 30/100 to win. A draw is currently 19/4 with Bet 365 while a Burnley victory is 12/1 at BetVictor.
