Chelsea, United And Arsenal On Alert As La Liga Club Consider Offloading £100m Rated Star

Chelsea are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann after it emerged that the La Liga side are weighing up selling the Frenchman at the end of the season, according to Sport.

Barca are looking to finance deals for other players and one of the solutions is to offload the World Cup winner to raise around €100m (£92m).

The Catalan club only signed Griezmann for €120m (£110m) last summer but he is not deemed an essential part of the first-team squad despite making 37 appearances, and scoring 14 goals, this campaign.

It is believed that Barcelona could even consider loaning out the 29-year-old if a club is prepared to pay his wages and offer a suitable loan fee.

His availability will certainly interest Blues boss Frank Lampard who is looking to strengthen up front, but they will face competition from Manchester United, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.
