‘Someone Needs To Tell Him The Truth’ ‘Giving Me Ronaldo Vibes’ Fans React As Chelsea Target Claims He’s Worth £83M

Chelsea transfer target Victor Osimhen has confidently declared that his transfer value should be €100m (£83m).

The Nigerian international, who joined Galatasaray on loan last month, came close to moving to Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window only for the deal to collapse due to personal terms. Speaking to TMW (quotes translated by the Daily Mail), Osimhen claimed that he is worth nine figures:

“I am worth over 100 million euros. There are few players in the world like me, who have reached such style and success. It all relates to my characteristics, what I do, and my quality. Therefore, I believe I deserve it.”

“I am aware of my contribution and what I can achieve, even in my private life. Do people think differently? Some say 15 million, others 100-120-150… Everyone has their own opinion.”

Chelsea supporters on X were not overly impressed with Osimhen’s comments, with some concerned about the size of his ego:

How has Osimhen fared at Galatasaray?

The 25-year-old has had a good start to life in Turkey. He has actually created more goals than he has scored, hitting the back of the net twice and providing 4 assists in 4 appearances so far.

Galatasaray don’t have an option to buy Osimhen and there is reportedly a break clause in the loan which will allow him to move to another club on a permanent basis in the New Year.

Will Chelsea go back in for him in January?

There was some regret when the Blues missed out on Osimhen in the summer, but the need for another No.9 has lessened following the club’s strong start to the season in front of goal.

Nicolas Jackson has scored 4 goals, while his understudy Christopher Nkunku has 6. In fact, reports suggest that the club are more likely to buy a centre-half than a striker in January at the moment.
