Raheem Sterling – Loan move to Arsenal
The former Manchester City and Liverpool man was told by Enzo Maresca that he was no longer needed and that he should seek a transfer.
Sterling eventually found one late on in the transfer window and made a loan move to Arsenal where he has made four appearances so far.
Ben Chilwell – Remains at Chelsea
Chilwell was also told that he was surplus to requirements, but the former Leicester City man wasn’t able to secure a move before the end of the transfer window.
There was interest from Manchester United, but no deal was done and the 27-year-old is still in the depths of Chelsea’s squad.
Kepa Arrizabalaga – Loan move to Bournemouth
Former Real Madrid keeper Arrizabalaga was handed a loan move to fellow Premier League side Bournemouth which lasts until May 2025.
He has so far made three appearances for the Cherries, conceding six goals.
