Successful Take-ons per 90

A take-on is an attempt to get past a defender whilst dribbling, and it is an important trait for any Premier League winger to have.

On this metric, Kudus is the clear winner. Last campaign, the 24-year-old averaged 3.19 successful take-ons per 90.

In contrast, Madueke only managed 1.99 per 90, but it should be pointed out that Kudus attempts to take on a defender nearly twice as often.

When we look at the percentage of successful take-ons, there is very little to choose between them (Kudus – 44.2%, Madueke – 44.1%).
