Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella could be the subject of a bid from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, according to reports in Spain.
Joao Felix is already set to make the switch to the same club but Marca claim they are also “preparing an irresistible offer” for Cucurella.
Al-Nassr are currently undergoing a rebuild after finishing 3rd behind Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal last season, and attempts are being made to placate star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
In addition to securing the services of Felix, it appears as if an attempt will be made for Cucurella.
Will the Chelsea left-back be tempted by the proposal?
It is believed that Cucurella will be offered personal terms that will be hard to turn down and a lot will depend on the defender’s attitude to leaving Stamford Bridge in the prime of his career.
The Spanish international has turned around a difficult start to become one of Chelsea’s most consistent players over the last 12 months or so.
Money does talk but he will know that Enzo Maresca’s side are on the cusp of doing something special, having recently won the Conference League and Club World Cup.
What is the situation with Felix?
The Portuguese forward is already at Al-Nassr’s training base ahead of completing his move to Saudi Arabia.
Felix’s boyhood club Benfica were originally favourites to secure his signature but the deal was hijacked, with Al-Nassr set to pay €30m (£26.2m) up front, with another €20m (£17.5m) due in add-ons.
It means that Chelsea will be able to recoup most of the fee they paid Atletico Madrid for the 25-year-old at the start of last campaign. That will greatly help in terms of PSR and enable them to continue spending.
