Chelsea would have to shell out £45m if they want to sign Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen this summer, according to The Daily Mail reporter Tomo Collomosse.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca is said to be a keen admirer of his former player and, with the London club looking to recruit a new No.1, a move for Hermansen has been suggested. However, supporters on X don’t believe it would be worth investing that much in the former Denmark Under 21 international:

What do fans need to know about Hermansen?
The shot-stopper made his senior debut for Brondby in a Danish Cup match against Ledoje-Smorum at the end of 2020. It didn’t take long for him to become the Danish side’s no.1 as he started the 2021/22 season as first choice.
In 2023, after two years as a regular starter, Hermansen was signed by Leicester for £6.5m. He started 44 of the Foxes’ 46 league matches and was named in the Championship Team of the Season.
Chelsea are pursuing other goalkeepers
In recent days, the Blues have been linked with Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili. The Georgian international impressed playing for his country at Euro 2024 and he could be available for £30m this summer. Hermansen’s fellow Dane, Villarreal’s Filip Jorgensen, is another potential option.
Porto and Portugal no.1 Diogo Costa has also been tipped for a possible switch to Stamford Bridge but he has a €75m (£63m) release clause.
