Chelsea have had a bid in the region of €65m (£57m) to €68m (£59m) “rejected” for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, according to reports in Italy.
The Gazzetta Dello Sport claim that the Blues were told in no uncertain terms that the Turkish international is not for sale. Some fans on X have urged the club to make a larger offer for Yildiz:

Zola says Yildiz is similar to him
In what many will see as a massive compliment, Blues legend Gianfranco Zola has previously said that he sees a lot of himself in the 20-year-old:
“There are players who have my characteristics, but today’s football is very different from the one I played. Let’s give an example: Yildiz of Juventus is a footballer who has qualities similar to mine, but he is not the only one.”
Chelsea have moved on to Simons
Gazzetta claim that Enzo Maresca’s side have not returned to the negotiating table, after being given short shrift by Juve with their opening bid.
Once their attempt to buy Yildiz failed, they quickly turned their sights towards RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons. At the time of writing, negotiations are ongoing to secure the Dutchman’s signature. The player has already given his seal of approval to the transfer.
