Chelsea and Tottenham are keeping tabs on the situation of Juventus striker Jonathan David, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Canadian international only joined the Serie A side from Lille on a free transfer in the summer, but he has struggled to find his feet in Italy and Tuttosport claim that the player could be let go in the New Year. Fans on X don’t believe he would be a good signing:

I can see him at Spurs, don't think the CFC team will go for it. Spurs 100% need him more. I can rather see Strausbourg current frontmen coming to #CFC

Romano has denied that Juventus want to sell David
At the moment, the chances of the 25-year-old leaving the Bianconeri are pretty low. Responding to the rumours, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has said sources close to the player and Juve have “played down” speculation about a potential departure.
Even so, that stance could still change over the coming weeks if David’s form doesn’t improve and he is deemed surplus to requirements by his club.
Will Chelsea sign a forward?
Head coach Enzo Maresca does have three strikers at his disposal – Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Marc Guiu – so there isn’t an urgent need for reinforcements.
However, reports in the Portuguese media have linked Porto’s Samu Aghehowa in recent days. The club’s interest in the Spaniard is widely known. 15 months ago, before he joined Porto, there was an agreement in place to sign him from Atletico Madrid, but the deal collapsed.
