Shots per 90 and Shot Conversion
The more you shoot, the likelier you are to score. It’s no coincidence that the most prolific scorers in world football also have the most shots.
On this metric, there is very little to separate David and Jackson, with the Lille forward marginally coming out on top.
In Ligue One last season, the Canadian international averaged 2.60 shots per 90. Jackson managed 2.57 for Chelsea in the Premier League.
Of course, converting those shots into goals is just as important. David is again slightly better, converting 22% to Jackson’s 18%.
