1) Jorgensen was born in Sweden

Despite being a Denmark Under 21 international, the shot-stopper was actually born in Lomma, Sweden; starting life at Malmo’s academy.

Jorgensen left for Spain at a pretty early age, spending some time in the youth teams of both Ad Penya Arrabal and Real Mallorca prior to being snapped up by Villarreal in the summer of 2015.

It would take the best part of five years for the goalkeeper to really establish himself, as he made appearances at various levels of the Yellow Submarines academy.

By 2020, he had finally made his senior debut, starting for Villarreal’s B team in the third tier of Spanish football against Penya Deportiva.
