Soon-to-be Chelsea player Estevao Willian scored a superb goal for Palmeiras in their 3-1 win over Botafogo earlier this week.
The winger ghosted past a couple of defenders before chipping the ball over the goalkeeper. Supporters on X can’t wait to see Estevao in a Blues shirt after witnessing what he did on Thursday:

When will Estevao officially become a Chelsea player?
The 17-year-old is only eligible to leave Brazil when he turns 18 in April, so his move will be finalised when the transfer window reopens this summer.
Based on his performances with Palmeiras over the last twelve months, it is very likely that he will become part of Enzo Maresca‘s first-team squad straight away rather than being loaned out to Strasbourg or another team.
The forward caught the eye with his displays last campaign
Despite his young age, Estevao was Palmeiras’ standout player during the 2024 season, scoring 19 goals and contributing 12 assists in 50 appearances.
Things have started more slowly for him this campaign in the Paulista State Championship, although his goal versus Botofogo means he now has 3 in 9 games.
Estevao will have a fair amount of competition for his position when he does arrive at Stamford Bridge, with both Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto also vying for starts on the right wing but, based on what we have seen from the young Brazilian, he looks ready to fight for his place in the first eleven.
