The transfer plans of new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso have started to come into full focus.

One player was officially confirmed as a new Blues player on Wednesday, while a couple of others could soon follow suit.

The targets being looked at do suggest Alonso is going to play 3-4-3 (or a version of it); a system that served him so well during his time at Bayer Leverkusen.
