Manchester United have lowered their asking price for Chelsea transfer target Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports.
ESPN report that the Red Devils are now prepared to sell the Argentinian international for £40m. Asked whether the Blues should sign the winger for that price, the majority of fans on X still don’t believe the club should do it:
Very big NO!

Even for £40m we should stay clear of him. I just get bad vibes from him.

Chelsea should leave this guy and focus on Xavi Simon. We don't need Garnacho

HE ADDS NOTHING TO CHELSEA. IF CHELSEA AIN'T GOING FOR SIMONS OR YILDIZ, THEY SHOULD RATHER TRY JACKSON ON THE LW PERIOD

Chelsea need to offload players first
After spending well over £200m on 7 new signings so far this summer, it is believed that the club’s main focus is now on offloading unwanted players.
They have recently slapped new asking prices on four players in the hope that they can raise around £140m from their departures, some of which could go towards new additions.
Simons is the club’s top priority
Even if funds are raised, though, it is felt that the Blues will prioritise a move for RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons. Although the Netherlands international is a very different player to Garnacho, he can be deployed on the left side of a front three if needed.
While he would not be direct competition for Jamie Gittens, Simons could perform a similar role in the squad to Christopher Nkunku, who could fill in across multiple positions if required.
