Chelsea Tracking Watford Star As Potential Hazard Replacement

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Watford winger Roberto Pereyra, according to the Mirror.

The Blues are reportedly taking precautionary steps if star man Eden Hazard does decide to leave Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian playmaker has said he would not leave the club in January, but he has suggested on several occasions that he would be interested in a move to Real Madrid.

With Hazard having so far failed to sign a new contract, and due to the fact he’ll have just one year remaining on his current deal in the summer, Chelsea are making plans in case they need a replacement.

Pereyra has been in excellent form this season with five goals in 11 Premier League appearances. However, since arriving at the Hornets from Juventus in 2016, he has scored just 12 goals in total, as well as six assists for his teammates.

No doubt, the Blues are also looking at other potential targets who have more impressive CVs.
