Chelsea are watching AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, according to reports in the English media.

The Blues are planning a big overhaul of their forward line this summer, with there being doubts over the futures of Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner.

Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling have already been tipped as potential targets to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s options up front, but it is believed that Leao is also being considered.

The pacey Portuguese international had a breakout season for Milan, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists as the Rossoneri secured their first Serie A title in eleven years.

Other teams, including City and Real Madrid, are said to be interested in Leao but, despite the fact that the 22-year-old already has a €150m (£128m) release clause in his current deal, Milan are keen to tie down the player to a new contract as soon as possible.
