Chelsea are still looking for a third striker to replace Drogba. There have been a lot of rumors linking big names to Stamford Bridge but the truth is, it is very improbable to see someone with the same skills or price tag as Diego Costa come to Stamford Bridge. It would be somewhat a waste of money considering the fact that Chelsea could spend big to strengthen other parts of the team that are not going as well as the attack. With the Spaniard in great form and with Remy always there to find the net, Mourinho is thinking of an efficient low cost solution. According to Metro, one option would be QPR’s Charlie Austin. The 25 year old had a great season and scored 18 goals in 36 appearances. He also made 7 assists for his team but unfortunately could not help QPR avoid relegation.

Austin will definitely be worth keeping in the Premier League. With a similar style to that of Arsenal’s Giroud, the striker is very unlikely to finish his contract with QPR as first agreed. His deal is about to expire in 2016 which means the club are also looking to sell.
