Chelsea To Fight Liverpool For Manuel Iturbe

Chelsea are the most active team on the transfer market. Rumors have linked more players to the Blues than they have to half of the Premier League teams set to face Mourinho’s team for next season. According to talkSPORT, Iturbe has made the Blues’ wish-list and might be offered a deal after the World Cup in Brazil comes to an end. The 21 year old Argentinian star who has had an amazing season in Italy, could be looking to move to a bigger club.

The problem which comes to mind when thinking why should Chelsea sign him refers to his playing style. The young Argentinian international is exactly the same type of player as Hazard, Willian, Salah and Scurrle. It is hard to believe he would find a spot in Mourinho’s team.

Even so, if Chelsea do decide to make a move for the 21 year old, they will have to fight with Juventus and Liverpool for his signature. His impressive performances during the 2013-2014 season have left many teams wanting Iturbe. Valued at £8 million he is one great investment to make. If he does end up at Stamford Bridge he will more than likely be sent off on loan for at least one year or two. He would then have to return to face probably the toughest competition there is to face in any European team.
