Chelsea Tipped To Sign Six Players In The January Transfer Window

Potter

The January transfer window is well underway – Chelsea, being one of Europe’s richest clubs, have been linked with a smattering of world class talents.

The Blues have several players in their crosshairs, from stouthearted defensive midfielders to tricky wingers. Using SkyBet for reference, we’ve picked out six players that Chelsea could sign in the winter window, according to their betting odds.

Please note that we are only looking at players linked with Chelsea in this piece. No one featured in this list has made any sort of concrete move to Stamford Bridge.

Who would you like the Chelsea to bring on board in the winter window? Do you agree with the betting odds?

6) Goncalo Ramos

Goncalo Ramos put on a show for everyone at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. At the tournament, he scored three goals and notched up a single assist across five games.

He caught the eye of plenty of big clubs – including Chelsea, according to his betting odds. SkyBet has Chelsea at 9/1 to bring the Portuguese starlet to West London.

5) Alexis Mac Allister

Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister has burst onto the world scene in the last few months. He had a very impressive World Cup for Argentina, with his electric performances being a key factor towards La Albiceleste’s success.

He scored five goals in 15 games so far this season for the Seagulls. Currently, Chelsea are 9/1 to snap him up, according to SkyBet.

4) Declan Rice

Declan Rice has been on Chelsea’s radar for some time now – he’s highly coveted by several clubs playing at the highest level. Despite this, West Ham are guarding him ferociously and will not allow him to leave without an enormous transfer fee.

Chelsea, being one of the richest clubs in world football, could likely afford Rice’s ever-expanding price tag – but will they be willing to pay it? SkyBet has given Chelsea odds of 8/1 to sign Rice before the winter window slams shut.

3) Joao Felix

Joao Felix has been an established name in international football for several years now. A skilful attacking midfielder, his deft ability on the ball makes him a sight to behold.

However, as Chelsea already have plenty of attacking midfielders on their books, it’s difficult to see where Felix could fit into Graham Potter’s side. Nevertheless, Chelsea are 8/1 to sign him before the end of the window, says SkyBet.

2) Moises Caicedo

Another Brighton player, Moises Caicedo has also been picking up plaudits for his impressive season on the south coast. While he only has a single Premier League goal this campaign, at just 21, he could develop into a superstar at the right club.

Are Chelsea the right club? SkyBet has them rated at 3/1 to bring Caicedo to Stamford Bridge.

1) Mykhaylo Mudryk

Mykhaylo Mudryk is the name on everyone’s lips at the moment. Almost every big club in the world seems hellbent on securing his signature – including Chelsea.

The flying Ukrainian winger will come with a hefty price tag, but despite this, Chelsea are second favourites to sign him at 2/1. The only club with shorter odds are Arsenal, who are 4/6 to bring him in before the end of the January transfer window.
