Reece Oxford is just 15 years old but has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs, including giants Chelsea. The Blues are keenly monitoring the 6ft 3ins teenager as they continue to lure the world’s best young players.

Their chase for Oxford has been given a boost with Sky Sports reporting that the centre-back is yet to agree a pro deal with West Ham.

The defender is the captain of the England U-17 side and has even featured on the bench for Sam Allardyce’s side in the Capital One Cup. He is one of the most highly-rated young players from England and is naturally being eyed by a host of clubs.

The Hammers want to tie down the 15-year-old to a lucrative contract but they are still to thrash out terms for Oxford with Chelsea lurking.
