Chelsea are considering making bids for either Moussa Dembele, Timo Werner or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when the transfer window opens, according to ESPN.
It is believed that Frank Lampard’s number one target is Dembele, with the Lyon striker also said to be interesting Manchester United, among other clubs.
Both Werner and Arsenal captain Aubameyang are also being considered but it seems that they are not top of the Blues’ list of summer targets.
Dembele could well be sold by Lyon with the Ligue One side having finished outside of the European places. Reports in France have suggested that club chairman Jean-Michel Aulas will sell two key players to balance the books.
A £60m asking price for Dembele has been mentioned but that has likely been lowered, both due to Lyon’s need to sell and because of the financial impact of the global health crisis.
The former Celtic striker has scored 22 goals in 42 appearances for the French club this season.
